Luckily in 2018, we will finally see Jason Statham in a brand new movie about sharks – unlikely to other similar films, this one will be representing the story around massive creature commonly known as the Megalodon. It the largest prehistoric predator that 75 foot long and it has to be beaten by the main characters of the movie in order to survive which is clearly shown in Meg movie trailer 2018.

As the upcoming movie is based on events described in the 1997 book with the same name, the project was first set up in the same year at Disney. After a long time, at the very beginning of June 2015 Warner Bros. Company bought the rights to this horror film.

According to the new Meg official trailer 2018, the story follows sea diver and the Naval captain called James Taylor – a few years ago he had to struggle with unseen before danger and come face-to-face with the unexpected strength of Mariana Trench.

The tragedy made him lose half of his crew and destroyed his happy marriage. According to his own words, during the mission, the crew was attacked by a huge Megalodon – the ancient creature that is believed to be dead for million years. However, when it comes to the disappearance of a submarine being on the bottom of the ocean trapped by the dangerous creature, James becomes the only one person to get the call. Moreover, his wife is onboard.
