Plot

The production of the film began on the sixtieth anniversary of the appearance of Paddington as a character invented by the writer Michael Bond in 1956 and released the first book about his adventures in 1958. Bond himself was officially announced about the upcoming project of the second film on the day of his 90th birthday.
Paul King preferred the second “Paddington” to work on the film “Wonder” (2017).
The co-author of the script was Simon Farnaby, who played the episodic role of a security guard named Barry in the first film.
Nicole Kidman showed interest in returning to the second part, where she played Millicent Clyde, but eventually did not take part in the new project.
