Minions are already a part of modern culture. Appearing in a seemingly quite ordinary albeit very cute cartoon, they made it memorable and completely special. They have existed on our planet since time immemorial and always strive to serve the most ordinary villain on it. In addition, they are very funny.

Production

Kyle Balda is the director of the upcoming animated movie. Brad Ableson known for several animated series, including the «Simpsons», will help him. Cinco Paul, who worked on “The Secret Life of Pets,” edited the script.

It is not yet known who will be the creator of the soundtracks of the picture, but rumor has it that it will be the same Heitor Pereira – one of the composers of the Hans Zimmer studio. By the way, he also writes music for the upcoming Scooby-Doo.

Plot

The main events will unfold around the minions, henchmen of all the villains. The main purpose of unicellular organisms is to serve despicable owners. The plot of the first part is such that because of the yellow creatures their owners all die: the Tyrannosaurus Rex falls into the volcano, the caveman falls into the hands of a bear, the incorrectly constructed pyramid falls onto the pharaoh, Count Dracula burns up in flames, and Napoleon dies from an accidental gun shot.

Having lost the last owner, primitive creatures leave to live in an ice cave. At first, they are comfortable with a free life without a leader. However, after a few years, the situation is changing. Minions become nervous and depressed from idleness and lack of motivation.

One of the minions Kevin invites his brothers Bob and Stuart to find a new villain. The trio ends up in New York. Left to spend the night at the mall, they find out that a conference of villains is planned in Orlando. Minions understand that they simply cannot miss such an event. Soon they become Scarlett Overkill’s assistants. The brothers will have to go through many trials.

Cast

Pierre Coffin, who has acted also as a producer, will voice all minions. You could also hear his voice in all short videos with minions, as well as in video games.
