If you’re a fan of the Marvel universe, then this superhero from Asgard needs no introductions. He’s a titan, a big, bulky fella, as strong as a god. We’ve already got two movies about this handsome-yet-brutal Avenger, and now it’s finally time for the third installment to create some buzz all around the world. Alright, when does Thor 3 Ragnarok come out? The American audience will get to check the God of Thunder out on November 3rd, 2017; same goes for the Canadians and the Indians. At the same time, the folk in the UK, Spain, Norway, and Sweden will have it available on October 27th. True, it’s not that big of a deal, but still, if you’re a proud British lad/lassie, make sure to be there right on the premiere night. By the way, Thor 3 will be the 17th movie in the Marvel Universe. It was officially confirmed in 2014, while we only got the full info about it recently.
Is The Trailer Epic Or What?!
As usually, the big-time Hollywood directors put everything they’ve got in their trailers and pretty much show all the awesome moments, trying to grab our attention and make us go to the movies. This is just a part of the commercial process; besides, that only made the movie Thor 3 Ragnarok trailer that much more awesome! So, Thor is not doing that great: the man (or should we say God?) is imprisoned somewhere in the middle of nowhere and is working against the clock to return to his homeworld – Asgard – to stop Ragnarok, the Apocalypse. If he fails, his home will be annihilated, leading to the end of the Asgardians. Hela is his mighty new enemy, and it’s not gonna be easy to defeat her in one-on-one combat. First of all, she single-handedly destroyed his hammer in the trailer; second, she’s incredibly gorgeous! Without his weapon, he’s forced to fight for survival. Will it be fun? You bet!
Ok, this is where things get really interesting: Chris Hemsworth will – obviously – play Thor, while the stylish Hiddleston will portray Loki, his treacherous brother. Mark Ruffalo is the Hulk, the lovely Cate Blanchett is Hela, and Sir, one of the Avenger’s most trusty and loyal friends, is still portrayed by the fascinating Jaimie Alexander. We all know and love these actors, and, even though some of them have been famous before this series (Blanchett, for example), and others had a mighty boost after the original Thor movie (like Alexander, the star of the hit “Blindspot” TV show), this movie is still a great release for all of them. With a cast like this one, you don’t even need CGI graphics to make it look good (well, no, scratch that – you do). Big-bad beasts, ripped men, sexy women, extremely strong monsters and funny characters – you’ll find it all in this upcoming epic.
Same Old Same Old?
So, as we just discussed in the beginning, Thor is weakened and robbed of his hammer, and a different civilization captures him and makes the ex-god fight with other contestants. Unfortunately, the Hulk, one of his opponents in the ring, is just as dumb as ever and doesn’t recognize his old friend. Only if Thor makes it through this hell-hole will he be able to get back out there and defend his home from Hela’s wrath. The Thor 3 Ragnarok movie release date in 2017 is just around the corner, but you’ve still got time to refresh your mind on the series by watching the previous two films (the first one is pretty great) or reading your favorite comics about the Avengers and/or the Asgardian hero, the crown prince and the son of Odin. That way, you’ll already know who’s who and won’t get confused with all the new characters. Or, you can just beat it and enjoy the awesome action scenes – the choice is yours. Ok, one more time, in case you forgot: November 3rd in the US and October 27th in the UK – that’s when is Thor 3 Ragnarok coming to theaters in 2017.
