9. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

The Guardians are back, and this time around, they’re focused on finding StarLord’s father. He’s been looking for clues to his whereabouts for his entire life, and now he finally has a chance of meeting his old man. The original crew is there to back him on every step of the way, and together they roam the never-ending Universe, bringing peace and order to the colonies and fighting occasional thugs along the way. Meanwhile, there’s a sinister, dark force rising from the depth of the Cosmos, and only these heroes can stop it. This is a brand-new sci-fi/adventure movie that you can enjoy with your kids (if they’re fans of the genre, of course). Valerian has been in love with Laureline, his partner, for a long time, but she’s not really into him. If he succeeds, the animals will have no home and no place to stay. So, they’ll have to work together and do everything in their power to prevent the villain from turning his dream into a reality. However, when he learns of the treachery that took the lives of his parents, he vows to avenge their death. Sparrow, ever the charmer, has gotten himself into all kinds of trouble: there’s an ancient artifact that could change the course of history, and he’s risking his life to get his hands on it. Meanwhile, a crew of cutthroat pirates is chasing after the Captain, and if he fails to outsmart them, the end of the world will follow.
