Thor: Ragnarok movie trailer 2017

The first Thor: Ragnarok movie trailer 2017 confirmed a lot of fan theories about the plot of the film, which were previously discussed on the network. We decided to make out the trailer to mark all the exciting stuff.

According to the plot, Thor returns to Asgard and learns that because of the actions of his brother Loki the most terrible event is approaching – Ragnarok. The main character is forced to seek help from his colleague on the “Avengers” – Hulk.

Ragnarok

In the German-Scandinavian mythology, “Ragnarok” means the death of the gods and the whole world. It is a legend according to which the world serpent Jormungand will come to dry land, the fire giant Surtur, the lady of the afterlife Hela and Loki will join him. Together they will pass along the Bifrost rainbow bridge, destroy Asgard and Yggdrasil. They will be opposed by the army of the gods.

In the trailer, Hela attacks Asgard, and we are shown how it burns on fire with the World Tree.

Hel

At the beginning of the Thor: Ragnarok teaser trailer, Tor is bound in chains and in a cave. He is surrounded by demons, and somewhere below you can see lava. It reminds Hel – the kingdom of Hela, the world of the dead. Judging by the fact that here Tor still has long hair, this episode takes place before Sakaar and a meeting with Hulk.

Hela

In the comics, Hela is the Queen of Niflheimr and the goddess of death. Her power is connected with the afterlife. Judging by the trailer, she broke out of captivity and wants to take revenge on the gods for keeping her there. Hela will become one of the most powerful opponents of the Thor. In the trailer, there is an episode in which she stops the Mjolnir hammer and destroys it with one hand.

One of the popular theories about the role of Hela in the Marvel cinema is that, like comic books, she will replace Lady Death and become the lover of the mad titan of Thanos. Thus, “Thor: Ragnarok” will be associated with the “Avengers: War of Infinity.”

Hulk vs. Thor

In the original story, “the Avengers” sent the Hulk into space on an uninhabited planet, but the ship lost its course, and the Hulk fell into a cruel world where he had to fight for survival as a gladiator in the arena. There he met the Silver Surfer, who also became a gladiator.

In the movie, the story will be changed. Once in Sakaar, Thor will become a gladiator in the arena and meet the Hulk there. With his help, the god of thunder will get out from the planet and try to overcome Hela.
